Resonance usage information
To operate the service, prevent repetition and enforce trial or subscription limits, we may record:
-
selected challenges or pain points;

the wording you entered;
-
the challenge or pain point to which it was matched;
-
whether the match was successful; and
-
limited technical information needed to improve the matching system.
-

Where free-text wording is logged for improvement purposes, the log is designed not to include your name, email address or Wix member ID. A limited technical or session reference may be used.

Please do not include medical information or other sensitive personal details. Describe only the voiceover issue you want help with.

4. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:
-
create and secure member accounts;
-
provide trials and paid access;
-
process and administer subscriptions;
-
run the Insight Engine;
-
show relevant insights;
-
prevent unnecessary repetition;
-
save insights and personal notes;
-
enforce usage and access limits;
-
provide customer support;
-
investigate technical problems;
-
improve free-text matching and the Resonance experience;
-
protect the website, members and Resonance content;
-
prevent misuse, fraud or unauthorised access;
-
meet tax, accounting and legal obligations; and
-
send essential account and service messages.
-

We may also send occasional Resonance updates, product news and offers as explained below.

5. Our lawful bases
We process personal information only where we have a lawful basis.

Contract
We rely on the performance of a contract, or steps taken before entering one, when processing information needed to:
-
create and operate an account;
-
provide a trial or subscription;
-
process payments;
-
deliver Resonance features;
-
save insights and notes; and
-
provide account and customer support.
-

Legitimate interests
We may rely on our legitimate interests where necessary to:
-
maintain and improve Resonance;
-
understand whether the service is working properly;
-
improve free-text matching;
-
maintain security;
-
prevent misuse or fraud;
-
resolve complaints;
-
maintain limited business records; and
-
protect or defend legal rights.
-

These interests are balanced against the rights and reasonable expectations of members.

Consent
We rely on consent where required for:
-
non-essential analytics cookies; and
-
marketing communications where consent is legally required.
You may withdraw consent at any time.

Legal obligations
We may process and retain information where necessary to comply with tax, accounting, regulatory or other legal requirements.

6. Emails and marketing

Resonance sends essential emails needed to operate an account or subscription, including:
-
account and security messages;
-
trial and access information;
-
payment and subscription messages;
-
important service changes; and
-
support communications.
These are service messages rather than marketing messages.

At sign-up, members are given the option:
Do not send me occasional Resonance updates, product news and offers.

Members who do not select this option may receive occasional Resonance marketing emails. Every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.

You may object to direct marketing at any time. Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent essential account, payment, security or service messages.

We may retain a minimal suppression record after an unsubscribe request so that the request continues to be respected.

7. Resonance and artificial intelligence

Resonance insights are human-authored and human-curated.

Member queries are not sent to OpenAI, ChatGPT or another external artificial-intelligence service for interpretation or processing.

External AI services do not generate the insights shown by Resonance.

Resonance uses its own rules, classifications and matching data within Wix to connect a selected or written issue with relevant human-authored insights.

Resonance does not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. It does not make decisions about employment, casting, finance, eligibility or legal rights.

Restrictions on copying Resonance content, uploading it to AI systems, using it for AI training or building competing products will be covered separately in the Resonance Terms and Conditions.

8. Analytics and cookies

At launch, Resonance uses:
• essential Wix cookies;
• Wix Analytics; and
• Resonance’s own internal usage records.

Resonance does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity or any other third-party advertising or behaviour-tracking service.

We may introduce third-party analytics, advertising measurement or audience-tracking technologies in the future, including services such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Before activating any such technology, we will update this Privacy Policy and our cookie information to explain what is being used, why it is being used, what information may be collected and which third parties may receive it.

Where consent is legally required, non-essential analytics, advertising and tracking technologies will not be activated until the visitor has accepted the relevant cookies through the website’s cookie controls. Visitors will also be able to reject non-essential cookies and change their preferences.

9. Who receives personal information?

Personal information is primarily held within Wix.

It may be processed by:
-
Wix, which provides the website, hosting, membership, database, email, analytics and payment infrastructure;
-
Wix Payments and relevant card or payment providers;
-
Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal when those payment options are used;
-
banks, card networks and anti-fraud services involved in completing a payment; and
-
public authorities or professional advisers where disclosure is legally required or genuinely necessary.
-

No employee, contractor, developer, assistant or support worker is currently planned to have routine access to Resonance member information.

Resonance does not routinely download or export the full member database. Any necessary export will be limited to the minimum information required and securely deleted when no longer needed.

10. Selling or sharing personal information

Resonance does not sell, rent or trade members’ personal information.
Resonance does not provide personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
This does not prevent necessary processing by Wix and payment providers, or disclosure where required by law.

11. International processing

Resonance is operated from the United Kingdom but may be used by members internationally.

Some personal information may be processed outside the United Kingdom by Wix and its service providers. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used to protect it.

Wix states that international transfers may be protected through recognised adequacy arrangements, contractual protections and additional technical and organisational safeguards.

12. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy.

Active accounts
Account and Resonance usage information is retained while a member has active trial, paid, complimentary or other Resonance access.
After Resonance access ends

Resonance-specific information will normally be deleted or anonymised 90 days after access ends, including:
-
saved insights;
-
personal notes;
-
usage records;
-
query history;
-
access records; and
-
other identifiable Resonance product data.

This period allows a member to return shortly after cancelling without immediately losing their Resonance material.

Cancellation of Resonance does not necessarily delete an underlying Wix or Wonderland VO site account. A full account-deletion request may be made separately.

Free-text logs
Exact free-text entries and their matching records will be kept for no longer than 90 days after submission, unless they have first been genuinely anonymised.

Anonymous statistics, such as overall search totals or commonly selected challenges, may be retained for longer because they no longer identify an individual.

Support enquiries
Completed support enquiries, Help-form messages and associated screenshots will normally be deleted 12 months after the enquiry is closed. Information may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for an unresolved complaint, payment dispute, legal claim or legal obligation.

Payment and accounting information
Payment, transaction, invoice and tax records may be kept for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law.
These retention periods should be supported by automated Wix processes wherever technically possible. Personal information should be deleted or anonymised once it is no longer required.

13. Security

Resonance is hosted through Wix and uses Wix’s account, hosting and payment infrastructure.

Access to member information is limited to the operator of Resonance and the service providers required to operate the service.
Reasonable technical and organisational steps are taken to protect information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. Wix describes measures including encrypted connections, access controls and payment-security standards.
No online service can guarantee complete security.

Members are responsible for choosing a secure password and keeping their login details private.

14. Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
-
ask for a copy of your personal information;
-
correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
-
request deletion of information;
-
restrict how information is used;
-
object to certain processing;
-
receive certain information in a portable form;
-
withdraw consent; and
-
object to direct marketing.

These rights do not apply in exactly the same way in every situation, and legal exceptions may apply.
Requests should be sent to:

resonanceprivacy@wonderlandvo.com

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

There will be no one-click account-deletion button. Verified deletion requests will be handled manually to reduce the risk of accidental or unauthorised deletion.

15. Complaints

Please contact resonanceprivacy@wonderlandvo.com first so that we have an opportunity to resolve your concern.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office:
Information Commissioner’s Office
Wycliffe House
Water Lane

Telephone: 0303 123 1113
The ICO recommends giving an organisation an opportunity to resolve a concern first, although individuals may still contact the ICO.

16. Age restriction

Resonance is intended for people aged 18 or over.
You must be at least 18 to create a Resonance account, begin a trial or purchase a subscription.
Resonance does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

17. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to Resonance, Wix, legal requirements or how personal information is used.
The updated version will be published on the Resonance website with a revised “Last updated” date.
Members will be emailed only where a significant change materially affects how their personal information is used.
