Help & User Guide
Everything you need to use Resonance, manage your account and solve common problems.

Welcome to Resonance
Resonance is a behavioural insight engine created specifically for voice actors.
You bring it a real professional, creative or technical problem. Resonance matches that problem with practical insights and actions drawn from its human-authored, human-curated knowledge base.
It is designed for the moments when you need a clearer next move:
-
before recording an audition;
-
when a read feels flat, safe or overworked;
-
when you are struggling to make a strong choice;
-
when confidence has dropped;
-
when your marketing has stalled;
-
when a technical or business problem is getting in your way; or
-
when you simply want to explore an area of your voiceover work more thoughtfully.
Resonance is not a course, a casting service or a replacement for coaching. It is a focused professional tool that helps you examine a problem from several useful angles and decide what to do next.
For more information on any part of Resonance, please expand the relevent section below:
1. Signing In
Resonance uses your Wonderland VO website account. Select Sign In from the Resonance menu and enter the email address and password connected with your account. Once signed in, the top menu shows: •your name; •your current access status; •your remaining usage; •your profile image or account icon; and •your account menu. Your account menu provides access to the relevant Wix account and subscription controls, including cancellation where applicable. If you have signed out and cannot find your way back in, return to the Resonance Engine and select Sign In from the top menu. Keep your account privateYour Resonance account is for your individual use. Do not share your password or allow another person to use your membership. One account and one free trial are permitted per person, regardless of how many email addresses that person uses.
2. The Resonance Menu
The main Resonance menu gives you direct access to the principal parts of the service. Resonance Engine This is where you choose a challenge, explore a Foundation and receive insights. My Resonance Your saved insights, notes and current areas of focus. Foundations This explains the seven behavioural Foundations that organise Resonance. Help This guide, support information, frequently asked questions and contact options. Your account area also shows your access and usage information.
3. Choosing What You Want Help With
3. Choosing What You Want Help With The Resonance Engine offers three ways to begin. A. Choose from the challenge list This is the primary and most reliable way to use Resonance. Choose the challenge that most closely describes the problem you are experiencing. Examples may include: •overthinking your reads; •playing auditions too safely; •struggling to sound conversational; •reads not feeling distinctive; •struggling to make strong choices; •confidence dropping when you are not booking; •inconsistent marketing; •audio-quality concerns; or •difficulty positioning yourself professionally. You do not need to find a perfect description of every detail. Choose the option that best represents the central problem you want to address. Focus on one problem at a time Resonance works best when you give it one clear problem. For example, instead of trying to solve confidence, pacing, character and marketing in the same search, begin with the problem that needs attention now. You can return to the others separately. B. Describe the problem in your own words Where this feature is available, you can enter a short description of the issue in your own language. Resonance does not use an external AI system to interpret your message. It matches your wording against its existing challenge definitions, phrases and behavioural mapping. For the clearest result: •describe one problem; •keep it reasonably short; •describe what is happening rather than your entire career history; •use ordinary voiceover language; and •avoid combining several unrelated issues. A useful entry might be: “I understand the script, but every take sounds too controlled.” A less useful entry would be: “Everything is going wrong with my career, my voice, my agent, my confidence and my studio.” If Resonance cannot identify the central issue confidently, it may ask you to choose from a small number of suggested challenges or return to the main list. Please avoid sensitive personal information Do not enter medical information or other highly sensitive personal details. Describe only the voiceover problem you want help with. Free-text entry may be restricted during a trial or given less prominence while its matching system continues to be refined. C. Explore a Foundation You can also enter through one of the seven Resonance Foundations: •Intention •Connection •Clarity •Control •Positioning •Resilience •Sustainability Foundation exploration is useful when you do not have one immediate problem, but want to examine a particular area of your performance, business or professional behaviour. Selecting a Foundation gives you insights connected with that area. For a fuller explanation of each Foundation, visit the Foundations page.
4. Getting Your First Six Insights
Once you have chosen a challenge or Foundation, select: SHOW MY INSIGHTS Resonance searches its curated library and builds a set of up to six relevant insights. The set is not simply the first six database entries attached to a subject. Resonance considers relevance, previous usage, saved material and behavioral variety when constructing the result. It aims to give you several distinct ways of approaching the same problem rather than six differently worded versions of the same advice. Where fewer than six strong and relevant insights are available, Resonance may return fewer rather than filling the set with weak material.
5. Understanding an Insight
Each result contains two central parts. What’s happening This identifies the behaviour, habit, assumption or professional pattern that may be contributing to the problem. It gives you a way to understand what needs to change. Try this This gives you a specific action to test. The action is the important part. Resonance is intended to change what you do, not simply give you something interesting to read. An insight may also show: •its Foundation; •its category; •its position within the current set; and •whether you have saved it. Treat each insight as a route, not a verdict Several different insights may be relevant to the same problem. They are not necessarily competing answers. One may address preparation, another performance behaviour, another decision-making, and another the way you respond after the event. Use professional judgement. Ask: •Does this describe something I recognise? •Is the suggested action usable? •Can I test it in the next read, session or working week? •Does it give me a genuinely different move? You are not expected to agree with every insight.
6. Moving Through Your Results
Resonance shows one insight at a time. Use the forward and back controls to move through the set. The position indicator shows where you are, for example: Insight 2 of 6 Move at your own pace. You do not have to save an insight before continuing. Your current insight remains available as you move backward and forward within the active result set. Do not rush through all six The purpose is not to collect advice as quickly as possible. A stronger way to use the set is: 1. Read the insight. 2. Read the action. 3. Decide whether it is relevant. 4. Imagine or test how you would apply it. 5. Save it only if you expect to return to it. One useful behavioural change is more valuable than six vaguely remembered paragraphs.
7. Getting Six More
At the end of the first set, you may be offered the option to receive up to six further insights for the same problem. The second set: • remains connected with the original challenge • aims to introduce additional behavioural routes • excludes insights already shown during that search where possible • counts against your remaining allowance The button will make clear that requesting the next set uses up to six more of your available insights. You do not have to request the second set. Use it when: • the first six have been useful and you want greater depth • you are looking for a less obvious approach • several parts of the problem remain unresolved • you want a broader range of ideas before deciding what to test Avoid requesting more simply because the button is available. Resonance works best as a decision tool, not as an endless content feed.
8. Why an Insight May Appear More Than Once
Resonance aims to minimise unnecessary repetition, but it does not promise that an insight will never appear again. An insight may legitimately apply to more than one challenge or Foundation. For example, one behavioural adjustment may be relevant to: • playing an audition too safely • struggling to sound distinctive • failing to make a strong choice A previously seen insight may also reappear when: • you have substantially explored the relevant pool • it remains one of the strongest matches • the matching system has been updated • excluding it would result in weaker guidance The objective is useful relevance, not artificial novelty.
9. Saving an Insight
Select Save Insight when you find something you want to use again. Once saved, the button changes to: SAVED ✓ Saving an insight does not move you forward automatically. You remain on the current insight and can continue when ready. Saved insights are normally excluded from future result sets where possible, so Resonance can prioritise material you have not already kept. What is worth saving? Save insights that: • describe a pattern you repeatedly encounter • contain an action you want to test • would be useful immediately before an audition or session • support an area you are actively developing • help you make a business or marketing decision • are likely to become part of your regular working process My Resonance is intended to be a personal working set, not an archive of everything you have ever seen.
10. Using My Resonance
Open My Resonance from the main Resonance menu. My Resonance contains your saved insights, notes and current areas of focus. Depending on the insight and current page controls, you can: • read the full insight and action • see its Foundation and category • see the challenge from which it was saved • add or update a personal note • pin an important insight • remove an insight • sort your saved collection • filter by Foundation or category Pinning insights Pin the insights that are most useful to you now. Pinned insights remain near the top of My Resonance, making them easier to reach before an audition, session or working task. Use pinning for current priorities rather than permanently marking everything as important. Personal notes You can add a short personal note to a saved insight. Useful notes might include: • the script or genre where you tested it • what changed when you used it • a reminder before your next audition • a direction you received in a session • a practical variation that worked for you • the date or context in which you want to revisit it Notes are plain text and remain connected with the saved insight. Do not use Resonance as the only storage place for information that would be irreplaceable. Removing an insight Removing an insight takes it out of My Resonance. It does not remove it from the Resonance library, and it may appear again in a later relevant search.
11. My Resonance Limits
Paid members can save up to 24 insights. Trial members can save up to six insights. The limit is deliberate. My Resonance should remain useful, readable and actively curated. When it is full, remove something that is no longer useful before saving another insight. Paid members can pin up to six saved insights. Trial members can pin up to two.
12. Your Usage Allowance
Paid membership Paid membership currently provides up to 144 insights during each billing cycle. That can be used in different ways, for example: • 24 searches of six insights • 12 searches using both sets of six • any combination within the total allowance Your remaining usage appears in the Resonance menu. An initial set of six uses up to six insights. Requesting the additional set uses up to six more. Unused allowance does not carry forward. Free trial The free trial provides: • up to seven days of access • up to three searches • up to 18 insights • access to a selected trial list of challenges The trial ends when the seven days expire or the available trial usage is used, whichever happens first. The trial does not convert into a paid subscription automatically. No payment is taken unless you separately choose to join.
13. When Access Ends
When a trial ends Once your trial ends: • you cannot run further searches • saved insight content becomes locked • notes cannot be viewed or edited • limited information about what you saved may remain visible • you will be offered the option to join Resonance Starting a paid membership restores the relevant access. When a paid subscription is cancelled Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your paid access normally continues until the end of the billing period already paid for. When paid access ends: • you cannot run new searches • saved insight and note content becomes locked • limited saved-item information may remain visible • rejoining restores access while the saved information remains retained Resonance-specific personal data is retained and later deleted or anonymised in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
14. The Seven Foundations
Every Resonance insight is connected with one or more behavioural Foundations. Intention The clarity and strength of the decision behind what you are doing. Intention asks what you want, why you are speaking and what effect you are trying to create. Connection Your relationship with the listener, scene partner, client, character or audience. Connection asks whether you are genuinely communicating or merely delivering. Clarity Your ability to understand the problem, identify what matters and make a usable decision. Clarity reduces confusion, vague preparation and unnecessary complexity. Control Your ability to use technique deliberately without becoming restricted by it. Control includes preparation, vocal and technical management, pacing and the ability to adjust. Positioning How you present your value, identity and professional offer. Positioning includes distinctiveness, marketing, client perception, pricing and career direction. Resilience How you respond to rejection, uncertainty, pressure and inconsistent results. Resilience supports recovery, perspective and continued professional action. Sustainability The habits, systems and boundaries that allow you to continue working effectively over time. Sustainability includes consistency, workload, vocal care, energy, business maintenance and long-term career health. Visit the Foundations page for fuller explanations and examples.
15. When to Use Resonance
Resonance is most useful when you bring it a real situation rather than browsing without purpose. Before an audition Use it when: • the read feels generic • you cannot identify a strong choice • you are overthinking the brief • everything sounds polished but lifeless • you are unsure how bold to be • you need a clearer way into the first line Choose the closest challenge, work through the first few insights and test one action before recording again. Before or during a session Use it to prepare for: • character entry • listener connection • pace and rhythm • taking direction • confidence under pressure • longform stamina • technical consistency Resonance should support your professional judgement, not compete with the direction being given in the room. After an unsuccessful audition or quiet period Use it to separate: • what you can learn • what you can change • what is outside your control • what action is worth taking next Avoid using Resonance to repeatedly analyse a result that cannot be known. For business and marketing Use it when: • marketing has become inconsistent • enquiries are not converting • you are unsure how to present yourself • your website or profiles lack focus • pricing decisions are becoming reactive • you want more repeat clients • you are struggling to maintain professional momentum For regular recalibration You do not need to use Resonance every day. Return when: • an old problem has resurfaced • your usual solution is no longer working • you need another perspective • you want to review a Foundation • a saved insight would help you prepare
16. How to Get Better Results
Choose the real problem Do not automatically select the most dramatic problem. Select the problem that most directly explains what is happening now. Separate symptoms from causes “My reads sound flat” may be the symptom. The cause may involve: • weak intention • lack of listener connection • over-control • unclear decisions • fear of making the wrong choice Begin with the symptom you recognise. The insights will help you examine possible causes. Test actions rather than collecting them An action becomes useful only when you try it. Apply one action to: • a current script • a previous audition • a practice take • a marketing task • a client message • a real professional decision Return with a different question when necessary When one challenge stops producing useful movement, choose a related but more precise challenge. For example: • move from “My reads sound flat” to “I’m struggling to make strong choices” • move from “I’m not booking” to “I’m playing auditions too safely” • move from “Marketing is inconsistent” to a clearer positioning or outreach issue Use the Foundations to widen your perspective If you keep returning to similar problems, explore the Foundation that appears most often in your results or My Resonance. This can reveal the broader behavioural area behind several individual difficulties.
17. What Resonance Does Not Do
Resonance does not: • listen to or analyse your audio • assess whether your voice is suitable for a particular job • predict casting decisions • guarantee bookings or representation • replace a director, coach, agent or medical professional • create personalised therapy or mental-health advice • make decisions on your behalf • use an external AI service to generate your insights • claim that every insight is universally correct The insights are professional-development guidance. You remain responsible for deciding what is appropriate for your work and circumstances.
18. Is Resonance an AI Tool?
No external AI system creates or selects your Resonance insights. The library is human-authored and human-curated. Resonance uses its own structured matching rules inside Wix to connect your chosen challenge or Foundation with relevant material. Free-text descriptions are matched against existing challenge definitions. They are not sent to ChatGPT, OpenAI or another external AI service for interpretation.
19. Content Use
Your membership gives you personal access to Resonance for your own professional development. You may naturally apply what you learn to your own work. You must not: • copy or redistribute Resonance insights • share cards or screenshots • scrape or bulk-capture the library • upload Resonance content to AI services • use it for AI training • publish it elsewhere • share account access • reconstruct Resonance as another product, database, course or service Full details are provided in the Resonance Terms and Conditions.
20. Managing Your Subscription
Use the subscription controls in your Wix member account to manage or cancel your paid membership. Cancelling: • prevents the next renewal • does not normally end access immediately • leaves your membership active until the end of the current paid period Memberships cannot be paused. If the self-service cancellation facility is unavailable or you cannot access your account, contact: resonancehelp@wonderlandvo.com Please use email cancellation assistance only when the normal account controls are unavailable.
21. Troubleshooting
I cannot sign in •Check that you are using the email address connected with your Wonderland VO account. •Check that the password has been entered correctly. •Make sure Caps Lock is not enabled. •Check that your browser is accepting the Wix login process. •Use the password-reset option if necessary. If you remain locked out, contact support using the email address connected with your account. I am signed in but Resonance says I have no access •Your account may be signed in under a different email address. •Access may be waiting to refresh. •Your trial may have ended. •You may have reached a trial or paid usage limit. •Your subscription may have expired. •A renewal payment may have failed. •There may be a temporary account-sync problem. Refresh the page once. If the status does not correct itself, contact support and include your account email, the page you were using, what you expected to happen and what appeared instead. My trial has ended earlier than expected The trial ends when seven days have passed or the trial allowance has been used. Using all three searches or receiving all 18 trial insights ends the searching part of the trial even when fewer than seven days have passed. I requested more insights and my allowance dropped again The optional second set contains up to six additional insights. Those insights count against your allowance in the same way as the first set. An insight I saved has appeared again Saved insights should normally be excluded from new result sets, but an insight may occasionally reappear following system changes, pool exhaustion or where it is highly relevant to another challenge. Please report repeated saved content if it appears to be a technical error rather than a legitimate match. I cannot save another insight My Resonance may be full. Remove an existing saved insight before attempting to save another. The paid limit is 24 saved insights. Trial users may save up to six. My saved insights are locked Your trial or paid access has ended. Saved item information may remain visible, but the insight, action and notes are unavailable until access is restored. The page is not displaying correctly •Refresh the page. •Close and reopen the browser. •Sign out and back in. •Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox. •Temporarily disable an unusually restrictive browser extension. •Check the page on another device or connection. Avoid repeatedly submitting the same search while a page is still loading. A search returns fewer than six insights Resonance prioritises quality and relevance over filling every space. A smaller set may be returned when the remaining strong pool is limited, especially after you have already explored a challenge several times. The result does not match my problem •Shorten the free-text description. •Remove unrelated problems. •Focus on the observable behaviour. •Select a curated challenge manually. If a result appears clearly and repeatedly wrong, please report it through the Help form.
22. Contacting Support
Use the Help form or email: resonancehelp@wonderlandvo.com The Help form may ask for: •your name; •your email address; •the reason for contacting us; •your message; and •an optional screenshot. Choose the most relevant contact reason: •Technical problem •Account or payment •Feedback •Other Do not send general documents, scripts, audio or video unless support specifically requests them. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. There is no guaranteed response time or continuous 24-hour service, but genuine technical, account and payment problems will be handled as promptly as reasonably possible. For privacy or personal-data requests, use: resonanceprivacy@wonderlandvo.com
23. Giving Feedback
Useful feedback helps improve Resonance. Please tell us when: •an insight appears unrelated to the selected challenge; •several insights feel behaviourally repetitive; •a free-text phrase maps incorrectly; •an instruction is unclear; •a My Resonance feature is not working; •a page is difficult to use on your device; or •something important is missing from the Help material. • Helpful reports explain: 1. what you selected or entered; 2. what Resonance returned; 3. what you expected instead; and 4. whether the problem happened more than once. Feedback may inform future improvements, but it does not guarantee that a particular insight or feature will be changed.
FAQ
Is Resonance suitable for beginners?
Resonance is intended for serious developing and working voice actors. You do not need to be highly experienced, but the guidance assumes a basic understanding of voiceover practice and professional language. It does not teach every foundational concept from the beginning in the way a complete introductory course would.
Is Resonance a course?
No. There is no fixed sequence of lessons to complete. You choose the problem that matters now and receive relevant guidance.
Is Resonance a replacement for coaching?
No. Resonance can help you identify a problem, examine it from several angles and test practical changes. A coach or director can hear your work, respond to the individual performance and guide you interactively. Resonance does not claim to replace that.
Does Resonance analyse my voice or recordings?
No. Resonance works from the challenge or Foundation you choose. It does not currently listen to or analyse audio.
Are the insights generated by AI?
No. The insight library is human-authored and human-curated. External AI systems do not generate the results shown to you.
Why do I receive several insights for one problem?
Most professional problems can be approached through more than one behaviour. Resonance may offer different routes involving preparation, intention, connection, control, confidence, positioning or working habits. The goal is to give you useful options without behavioural repetition.
Do I have to use all six?
No. You may find that one or two are immediately useful and the others are less relevant to your present situation.
What happens when I request six more?
Resonance searches for up to six further relevant insights for the same problem. They count against your usage allowance.
Can I save every insight?
No. My Resonance is deliberately limited so that it remains a useful personal working set.
Can I download or print my saved insights?
No. Resonance is an access-based service and does not provide a bulk download, export or printable library.
Can I cancel monthly?
Yes. Cancel through your Wix subscription controls before the next renewal. Access normally continues until the end of the period already paid for.
Does the free trial require payment details?
The Resonance trial does not automatically turn into a paid membership. Payment is taken only when you separately choose to subscribe.
Can I have another trial with a different email address?
No. Only one trial is permitted per person.
Will new insights be added?
Resonance may add and update insights over time, but membership does not guarantee a particular number or publication schedule.
Can the same insight apply to different problems?
Yes. A strong behavioural principle can be relevant to several voiceover problems, which is why the same insight may occasionally appear through different routes.
