Helen is a writer, director, composer, voiceover and award-winning actress.  For 30 years, her work has encompassed plays, TV, radio drama, musicals, cabaret and concerts across the UK and beyond.  As a scriptwriter and producer she was a finalist in the 2021 AUDIE AWARDS in New York for the drama series, ATA GIRL 2 and a highly commended finalist in the BBC AUDIO DRAMA AWARDS 2018.  She has written and directed numerous audio series starring (amongst many others) David Tennant, Billie Piper, Christopher Eccleston, Sian Phillips and Paul McGann.   As an actress, she has worked alongside John Hurt, Celia Imrie, Sophie Thompson, Tim McInnerny and Catherine Tate and been directed by Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, David Jason and Simon Callow.  She is the winner of the ONE VOICE AWARD for ‘Best Female Radio Drama Performance’ 2018.

Helen’s comedy songs have been performed at London’s top cabaret venues, on tour and on BBC TV and radio and she has had music released on itunes, CD Baby and all major music outlets.
 

Helen will share tips about how to make the kind of impact that will get you asked back for more work, as well as an  examination of the industry and how it differs to commercial and gaming work.
